Episode 160: Joker

We're dealing with the realm of comic book films again this week but this time we're going for the far more serious (at least it sets out to be) Joker and we look at the film itself, other interpretations of the character and the future films.

Episode 159: The Godfather

We're doing another classic this week. Well, rather a trilogy of classics with a look at The Godfather and sequels but will we find the films to be worthy of this praise? 

Episode 158: Tim Burton

As opposed to doing a multiple episode run on a director's entire career, we have condensed this done to one episode (more out of time constraints than anything else) so we do a full retrospective look at Burton's entire career with talks of his various partners, the biopic genre as well as getting a bit deeper as we go on.

Episode 157: Alien Franchise: Part 2

We conclude our Alien retrospective with a look at the more controversial films in the series and we even get a contender for worst film ever covered on the podcast. 

Episode 156: Alien Franchise: Part 1

The next few episodes of the show will be massive retrospectives and this week will be the beginning of a retrospective of the Alien franchise with looks at the original 4 films as well as discussing the careers of each director and the Predator franchise.

Episode 155: SpongeBob SquarePants

After a more mature episode last week with Deadpool, we go to the opposite of the spectrum with a far more family oriented episode looking at SpongeBob SquarePants and the film franchise that has spawned from it.

Episode 154: Deadpool

The podcast makes it's return with a look at world of X-Men with a discussion on the Deadpool films as well as a look at the upcoming film and a state of the nation look at the MCU.

Episode 153: Little Shop of Horrors

The show is back after a nearly month's hiatus and it's time to look at one of my favourite films with Little Shop of Horrors. Not only do we talk about the film but we talk about film musicals, musicals in general and Nicolas Cage somehow. 

Episode 152: Inside Out

How else can we follow up Bad Boys? Well, we follow up with another look back at Pixar's filmography with Inside Out to tie into the release of its sequel. Be warned though, it might get a bit emotional this week.

After another extended break, the show has returned with a look at the Bad Boys franchise to tie into the upcoming release of Bad Boys: Ride or Die and I'm joined by special guest Allen Turing, host of the Diminishing Returns Podcast and the British Sitcom History Podcast. We talk about the films themselves as well as general film history of 90s action films, the career of Michael Bay and a talk of the current state of cinema.
